Pawsitive Abilities
Pawsitive Abilities’ programming is designed to provide training, education, and support to improve the outcomes of individuals with Autism and Developmental Disabilities through the utilization of service and therapy dogs and community education.
Program director, Cristy Russo, PhD., MSCP is a fellowship trained Pediatric Neuropsychologist who holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and a M.S. in Clinical Psychopharmacology. Dr. Russo has specialized in assessment, treatment, and intervention of children, adolescents, and adults with various neurological conditions, including Autism and developmental disabilities since 2006. Dr. Russo is passionate about the collaboration between families, educators, and providers in facilitating
a child-centered approach to promoting social, emotional and educational well-being. Dr. Russo is a licensed psychologist in the state of Florida.
With guidance of Dr. Russo and Norma Ross, PAF’s Executive and Training Director, we are positive PAF will be able to assist the needs of our clients, their families, and our community.
